Alexander Neumann was born and raised in Peru; a colorful, spirited country that shaped his playful style. His father is a painter and art collector so art has had a profound impact on his life from a young age. He studied art, philosophy and communications at Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru. This is where he discovered his passion for photography.
Alexander began his career focusing on documentary and fine art photography. Seeking new creative challenges he moved to New York, where he began working with Mario Testino. This had a great influence on his aesthetic and inspired his shift towards fashion. The vibrancy and elegance of his work is a reflection of his appreciation for all forms of art.
His work has been published in Vogue MX, Vogue Korea, GQ, Harper's Bazaar, Dansk, TANK and Dazed & Confused Korea.
Alexander splits his time between New York and Paris.
